Heroes of Lifemaan App
Welcome to Lifemaan, the platform designed to empower healthcare professionals in delivering quality care. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Lifemaan's mobile app (Heroes of Lifemaan) & web application and related services (collectively the “App”). By using the Lifemaan App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Professional Account
- Registration: To use the Lifemaan App, healthcare professionals must create a professional account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
- Verification: Lifemaan reserves the right to verify the credentials and qualifications of healthcare professionals, as well as documents pertaining to the location of their practice on the platform. Providing false information may lead to the suspension or termination of the professional account.
2. Services Offered
- Healthcare Services: Lifemaan enables healthcare professionals to offer a range of healthcare services, including but not limited to consultations, diagnostics, and other healthcare-related services.
- Professional Conduct: Healthcare professionals agree to provide services in a professional and ethical manner, adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.
3. Appointment Booking
- Appointment Acceptance: Healthcare professionals can accept or decline appointment requests made by users through the Lifemaan App. Timely responses to appointment requests are encouraged to enhance user experience.
- Cancellation Policy: Healthcare professionals who need to cancel an appointment are expected to do so within a reasonable timeframe to allow the user to seek alternative arrangements.
- No-Show Policy: In the event of a user not attending an appointment without prior notification, the healthcare professional may be entitled to a consultation fee as specified in the platform's payment policy.
3. Fees & Payments
- Fee Transparency: Healthcare professionals agree to clearly and transparently communicate their consultation fees to users through the Lifemaan App.
- Online Payments: Lifemaan may facilitate online payment options for users to pay consultation fees. Healthcare professionals agree to comply with Lifemaan's payment processing policies.
- Service Fees: You agree to pay all service fees, consulting fees, and other applicable charges associated with your use of the Lifemaan App. Lifemaan will make reasonable efforts to provide you with a fair estimate of fees in advance; however, the actual fee may depend on the type and duration of services subscribed to.
- Payment Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the payment of all taxes, legal compliances, statutory registrations, and reporting related to your use of the Lifemaan App. Lifemaan holds no responsibility for any taxes other than its own income tax.
- Online Fee Payment: Fees for Lifemaan services can be paid online through the facility provided on the Application. Third-party support and services may be utilised to process online fee payments. Lifemaan is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to users during this process.
- Fee Variation: While Lifemaan will strive to provide a fair estimate of fees in advance, the actual fees may vary based on the type and quantity of services selected.
- Refunds: Refund policies, if applicable, are outlined in our Payment Policy. Users are encouraged to review and understand the refund policy before making any payments.
- Third-Party Payment Processing: The Lifemaan App may use third-party services for payment processing. Your use of such third-party services is subject to their terms and conditions. Lifemaan is not responsible for any issues or disputes arising from transactions processed by third-party payment providers.
- Changes to Fees: Lifemaan reserves the right to change its fee structure and payment policies at any time. Users will be notified of such changes, and continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified fee structure.
4. Privacy
Lifemaan is committed to protecting your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.
5. Use of the App
- Compliance: You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Prohibited Conduct: You may not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, transmitting any harmful code, engaging in disruptive activities, or violating the rights of others. You as a Registered User will use the Application solely for personal and non-commercial use. Any use of this Application or its content other than for personal purposes is strictly prohibited.
- Account Security: You agree to notify Lifemaan immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.
6. Physical Consultation Appointment Booking
- Confirmation of Appointments: Lifemaan facilitates Users to book physical consultation appointments with healthcare professionals through the App. Lifemaan will ensure Users are provided with a confirmed appointment for physical consultations. However, Lifemaan holds no liability if such an appointment is later cancelled by the healthcare professional, or if the same healthcare professional is not available for the appointment.
- Practitioner Availability: While Lifemaan strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding practitioner availability, changes may occur. Users are advised to check the latest availability of healthcare professionals before booking.
7. Video Consultation Appointment Booking
- Booking Video Consultations: Users can book video consultations with healthcare professionals through the Lifemaan App.
- Information Sharing: By utilising the video consultation services, Users acknowledge that Lifemaan reserves the right to share information provided by the User with the healthcare professional and store such information following the guidelines outlined in the Lifemaan Privacy Policy.
- Privacy and Confidentiality: Lifemaan is committed to maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of Users' information shared during video consultations.
- Results of Search: The results of any search performed on the Lifemaan App for healthcare professionals should not be construed as an endorsement by Lifemaan of any particular healthcare professional. If the User decides to engage with a healthcare professional, the User shall be doing so at his/her own risk.
- User Responsibility: Users are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information during the booking process and video consultations. Lifemaan holds no responsibility for consequences arising from inaccurate or false information provided by Users.
- Disclaimer: Lifemaan does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of healthcare advice provided during video consultations. Users are encouraged to seek in-person medical advice for a comprehensive evaluation of their health condition.
8. Health Information
- Accuracy: Lifemaan does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of health-related information provided on the App. Consult with healthcare professionals for accurate and personalised advice.
- User-Generated Content: Users may submit health-related content. Lifemaan is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of user-generated content.
9. Disclaimers
- No Warranty: The App is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.
- Representations: You are 18 years of age or older and your use of the Application shall not violate any applicable law or regulation. Where a minor may access or use the Application or Service, you will ensure that such access happens through your account and under your personal supervision. You accept to be accountable and liable for the activity of the minor on the Application.
- Limitation of Liability: Lifemaan and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the App.
10. Modification of Terms
Lifemaan reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Users will be notified of changes, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Termination
Lifemaan reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Gujarat, India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable under applicable law, then such provision shall be considered severed from these Terms, and the remainder of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
